Meet Chrissy Pakish, MSN, RN, CEN
Owner & Creator of Resonate

With over 20 years of experience in emergency and trauma care, Chrissy Pakish brings an extraordinary blend of clinical excellence, resilience, and heart-centered healing to everything she does. As an Emergency and Flight Nurse and Director of Emergency Services, Chrissy has spent her career showing up in life’s most intense moments—leading with calm, strength, and compassion when it matters most.

But her passion doesn’t stop at medicine.

Chrissy is a Certified YTT-200 Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master Practitioner, Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and is trained in Yin Yoga, Children’s Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga for both adults and children. Her work bridges science and spirit, movement and mindfulness, empowering others to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves on every level.

At the heart of Chrissy’s mission is Resonate. More than just a studio, Resonate is a community—a judgment-free, fun, less-than-perfect space where everyone belongs exactly as they are. It’s a place to breathe, sweat, laugh, heal, and show up authentically—no filters, no pressure, no perfection required.

Chrissy’s teaching style is bold and intentional. She loves high-energy, high-intensity, cardio-driven, power-filled classes that challenge both body and mind—paired with moments of deep inner work that leave you feeling stronger, clearer, and empowered from the inside out. Whether you’re pushing through a powerful flow or dropping inward for reflection, her goal is the same: help you rise stronger than you came in.

Outside the studio, Chrissy loves to run and spin, and she lives by a few core truths:
Never give up. Never quit. Always take the compliment.

Her dream is to continue growing Resonate in ways that meet the evolving needs of the community—creating space for healing, movement, connection, and self-discovery—so others can find their strength, their voice, and their true self.

Chrissy doesn’t just teach or coach—she leads, empowers, and walks beside you on your journey to becoming and feeling your best. 💫

Caitlin

Welcome Caitlin — Yogi, Esthetician & Sensory Artist

We’re beyond excited to welcome Caitlin to the Resonate family! Originally from Southern California, Caitlin made her way to Pennsylvania in 2020, bringing with her over 20 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist (since 2002) with a deep passion for skin care, touch therapy, and sensory-driven experiences.

Caitlin’s treatment room is where science meets soul. Her focus is on results and relaxation, offering luxurious facials, scalp and facial massage, lash and brow lamination, and waxing services, with a special love for Gua Sha and other restorative techniques that support lymphatic flow, sculpting, and total nervous system calm. Appointments are now available—and they’re just as amazing as you’d imagine.

Beyond skincare, Caitlin’s movement background is nothing short of inspiring. A lifelong dancer, she attended a performing arts high school with a focus on classical ballet, majored in dance in college, and studied under renowned principal Cuban ballerina Bertha Suarez Blankenship. She also danced professionally with the all-female troupe The Denver Diamond Dolls and trained in an impressive range of styles including jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, Fosse, and swing.

Though an injury shifted her path away from dancing full-time, it never dimmed her passion. Instead, it redirected her beautifully—toward teaching, fitness, and the healing arts, blending movement, body awareness, and care both on and off the mat.

As a Certified YTT-200 yoga teacher with multiple additional trainings and certifications, Caitlin now shares her expertise in both daytime and evening classes. Her heart class? Barre. As a former dancer and fitness enthusiast, she loves delivering a class that is empowering, graceful, and seriously effective. Her second passion lives in the heat—Bikram/26&2 (hot yoga)—along with Vinyasa, Restorative, Chair, and Yin practices.

When she’s not teaching or treating, Caitlin is a devoted stay-at-home mom to her beautiful daughter Ruby, and partner to her amazing husband Chad.

Caitlin brings depth, warmth, artistry, and intention into everything she offers. We are so honored to have her sharing her gifts with our community—on the mat, in the treatment room, and beyond.

Derek

DDPY Level 2 Certified Instructor

Derek’s journey with DDP Yoga is rooted in resilience, gratitude, and real-life transformation. He wasn’t always the “athletic type,” and for years he lived with chronic back and knee pain caused by long, physically demanding workdays—10 hours on his feet, constant bending, and heavy lifting that slowly took its toll.

Searching for relief, Derek was inspired by fellow DDPY warrior Ross George and decided to give DDP Yoga a try. That decision became life-changing. In his own words, aside from getting married, discovering DDPY has been one of the best things he’s ever done.

A lifelong wrestling fan, Derek grew up watching Diamond Dallas Page and always looked up to him as a hero. In December, that full-circle moment became reality when Derek met Dallas and Brenda at the Pittsburgh Steel City Comic Con. Sharing how DDPY had virtually eliminated his back pain and helped him feel “1000% better,” Derek received encouragement and advice straight from the source—advice he took to heart.

Today, Derek is doing things he never thought possible. He’s running the Pittsburgh Marathon 5Ks, with big goals ahead and a deep commitment to continuing his journey—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Now a DDPY Level 2 Certified Instructor, Derek brings authenticity, understanding, and motivation to every class he teaches. He knows what it’s like to start with pain, doubt, and limitations—and he’s living proof of what’s possible with consistency, belief, and community.

His message is simple and powerful:
You got me to the starting line, and I am forever grateful.
INK IT. OWN IT.

We are honored to have Derek sharing his story, strength, and passion at Resonate.

Meet Kitty — Sound Bath Facilitator | Kitty Sound Healing

Hello friends, my name is Kitty, and I am a Sound Bath Facilitator based in the Pittsburgh area and the heart behind Kitty Sound Healing. I began my sound healing journey four years ago, and from the moment I experienced my first sound bath, I knew I had found my calling.

Through Kitty Sound Healing, my intention is to help others find inner peace, balance, and self-healing by offering sacred sounds that calm the nervous system and invite deep restoration. Each session is thoughtfully created to provide a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, soften, and fully receive.

I believe that when we open ourselves to the transformative power of sound, we create space for healing, growth, and profound inner transformation. It is my hope that every sound bath leaves you feeling grounded, renewed, and more connected to your true self.

I am honored to hold space for your healing journey and look forward to sharing this experience with you. ✨
